Heres a few things to consider when troubleshooting computer problems…
Have You Installed Anything New Lately?
If youve recently added new goodies (hardware or software) to your computer, its possible that they aren’t playing nice with your system. It’s pretty easy to check and find out if a hardware or software incompatibility is to blame - simply uninstall or disconnect it and see if that solves the problem.
Have You Run Your Anti - Virus Lately? How About Updates?
It’s an unfortunate fact that computer viruses are out there and can (and will) reak havoc on your computer. It’s always a good idea to update your anti-virus software (for new virus definitions) and give your system a good scan. Don’t have anti-virus software? Yikes, you should get some! Does Your Registry Need a Good Cleaning?
Every Windows computer has one, but how often do you preform maintence on it? Were tlking about your Windows registry, the databank where Windows stores information on your settings, configuration, software and other important stuff. Over time, these commonly get cluttered and can cause undesireable results (read: trouble) with your computer.
